65 YEARS ON THE AIR
KBJA AM 1640 launches in Northern Utah, becoming one of the first talk radio stations in the nation.
Station expands programming and establishes itself as Northern Utah's premier talk radio destination.
K-Talk Radio grows its audience with local programming, news coverage, and community engagement.
Station transitions to digital streaming, making K-Talk accessible nationwide online.
Launch of SoundCloud podcast channel, making recent K-Talk broadcasts available on demand to listeners everywhere.
Website redesign and social media expansion — K-Talk Radio enters a new era of digital broadcasting.

Richard Perry is the owner of KBJA AM 1640 K-Talk Radio. Under his ownership, K-Talk has maintained its commitment to independent, free-speech broadcasting in Northern Utah, preserving the station's legacy as one of America's oldest talk radio stations.
